Hair study
The FUE hair graft requires a prior trichological study with which the medical team determines the viability of the hair implant and an estimate of the number of follicles required.

Our medical team designs both the donor area and the recipient area.

It is necessary to shave the hair, leaving it with an approximate length of 2 millimeters to facilitate the extraction and implantation of the hair follicles.
Anesthesia
To make the process painless, local anesthesia is used throughout the scalp, so the patient remains awake and conscious throughout the intervention.
Extraction of the follicles
In the FUE/DHI hair graft, the necessary follicular units are extracted one by one using a punch with a micromotor, which opens the channels in the scalp through which the follicles are extracted with tweezers. This technique does not leave visible scars.
Incisions for FUE technique
Our team of surgeons makes incisions in the area affected by alopecia with a sapphire scalpel, respecting the degree of angulation and natural direction of each patient's hair. These cavities are where the extracted follicular units are implanted.
Follicle implantation
The FUE hair graft concludes with the implantation of the hair follicles in the cavities made by the surgeon. Implantation is carried out one by one with forceps. For the DHI technique, an implant is used where the surgeon inserts the clean and selected follicle into a hollow surgical steel needle that has the device (pen-shaped surgical device). The surgeon presses a plunger or button to make the microincision and release the follicle at the same time, in a single movement.
FUE TECHNIQUE
The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique is the most advanced of the hair transplant techniques because it is performed by extracting the follicular units one by one from the donor area. After extraction and study, incisions are made with a conventional or Sapphire scalpel where, subsequently, the follicles are implanted in the area affected by baldness. The FUE hair graft leaves no visible scars and offers natural results.
FUE DHI TECHNIQUE
The FUE DHI technique is based on the same methodology as the standard FUE technique but with variations in the instrumentation. This allows the hair transplant to be performed without the need to shave the patient's head completely. To do this, only the donor area is shaved, which will go unnoticed with the length of the hair itself. Being able to perform a hair implant without shaving with DHI depends on the opinion of the medical team in order to obtain the best results. The FUE DHI technique is also used in a hair transplant with shaving as it facilitates the implantation of the follicles.
